The
program for Thursday will consist of two plenary sessions of invited speakers
focusing on each theme, and platform presentations by HDC members on these
themes or other topics. Thursday’s lunch will include an interesting and/or
provocative presentation by an invited speaker (to be announced). Poster
presentations by students and professionals will be displayed and visited during
the coffee breaks and a late-afternoon Poster Social on Thursday, as well as

very lucrative (Graduate Students 1st place = $500, Undergraduate

dinner with live entertainment and a Keynote Speaker. On Friday morning we will
offer several short courses followed by lunch and a short business meeting (with
student poster awards). Friday afternoon will include additional short courses
and a field trip to a local, if not exotic, environmental attraction (also to be
announced).
